This Week – My Atlanta Photography Exibition and Contest
This Saturday Rebekah and I are going down to Atlanta to enter into the “Atlanta Celebrates Photography” show / contest. We hang our work on October 3rd, and then every Saturday of the month there will be an exebition from 9am – 1pm for others to view the work entered. On the 24th the judges will pick the winners! Not only is it an awesome way to see others work, but it’s a learning experience, and it’s fun to see what other great photographers are out there. I am hanging 3 of my favorite portraits. I have chosen 2, but deciding on the 3rd.. I will post my picks here for all of you to see!
get out to Piedmont Park next Saturday to see the amazing work from photographers in the area! This will be my 3rd biggest photo contest entering.. the first time was in NH and I won and swept 1st 2nd and 3rd! The year after that I won 1st in people’s choice.. this year is my first year entering a contest in Atlanta.. I look forward to the competition! – Karen

Wenting Deng / Dayu Engagement by Karen
We did these photos at a place called “Serenbe” in Palmetto Georgia.. it had a Amish Community feel to it with some rustic down-townish look.. the place was amazing and we plan to go back in the fall. Here are Wenting Deng and Dayu Yang’s engagement photos. We plan to do their wedding in Octber in Auburn Alabama.
